This version of Dylan Thomas' classic play was performed by an exciting cast of new young actors as part of Black RAT Productions’ Theatre Summer School 2010. A fantastic choice for youth theatre with its wonderful array of characters - terrific fun!
The aim of our summer school is to bring together emerging talent from all over the South Wales region and give them the opportunity to rehearse a play with professionals.
Led by professionals, the experience is one of quality for the actors and audience alike.
Black RAT Productions is fast becoming recognised as a company that promotes established and emerging talent. The introduction of our summer school programme provides a much needed outlet for young actors who want to perform in drama with a non-musical theatre bias.
Theatre Summer Schools offer a tremendous opportunity for budding performers from across South Wales to work together to create a new piece of theatre. We are always looking for young actors for projects throughout next year – so this is a wonderful way to show us what you can do. Several students from Summer School '09 have already worked with us professionally.
